Proverbs 14:10 Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can fully share its joy.Tryphtin Scott is a male in his mid-thirties

Life is full of deep sorrows and great joys. Loneliness and isolation are felt when these experiences cannot be shared or understood by others. As a counselor, Tryphtin serves to create an accepting space where these matters of the heart can be explored freely.

His approach to counseling uses person centered, existential, and emotion focused therapy techniques. His integrative approach seeks to connect the rich tradition of Christian faith with current research-based counseling techniques.

Tryphtin is completing his final year of the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Colorado Christian University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering from Colorado State University in 2015 and has been working to support church tech ministries for the past 10 years.

He has volunteered as a recovery coach for addiction and community corrections for the past 6 years. His practical and scientific understanding of addiction help him to support those looking to find freedom and modify behavior.

Tryphtin attends Vintage City Church where he volunteers on the worship team and facilitates men’s study groups. In his free time, he enjoys completing DIY home projects, backpacking, and making music.
