Reunification Therapy

Reunification therapy
Coming back together is what you’ve been dreaming of, but it isn’t always as easy as it seems. We’re here to help!

If it’s been months, or even years, since your children have seen one of their parents, oftentimes the courts will order reunification therapy.  This is a complicated process, but our goal is to determine if there’s a safe path forward for the children to be back in relationship with their parent.  We help families work toward reunification and always works in the best interest of the children in the family.  Chris Bassett, MA, LMFT does the Reunification Therapy work.  She has more than 20 years experience in the counseling field, does play therapy with children, has testified in court more than 30 times as an expert witness, and has worked with numerous Child and Family Investigators, Parenting Responsibility Evaluators and Guardian ad Litems.  Financial:  Reunification Therapy is not covered by insurance.  Parents need to both agree to the reunification process, determine how the finances of the sessions will be split, based on their court paperwork, and sign the reunification paperwork, before the process can begin.
